Attributes in Multiple Languages

A single analytic workspace can support multiple languages. This support enables users of OLAP applications and tools to view the metadata (such as the descriptions of cubes, measures, cube dimensions, levels, and so on), and cube dimension attributes (such as the names of months or products) in their native languages. The number and choice of languages is restricted only by the database character set and your ability to provide translated text. You can add or remove support for a language at any time.

Typically, text attributes must be mapped to multiple source columns, and numeric and date values can be mapped to a single source column.
