Create Time Dimension Table: General

Use this wizard to automatically generate a relational table that contains time periods. The table provides the metadata required to support time-based analysis, such as end dates and time spans.

Note:

In an analytic workspace, you must create a time type cube dimension, select the generated time dimension table as the source, and map the cube dimension to your relational fact tables.

Table Name: Specifies the name of the relational table to create.

Start Date: Specifies the month, day, and year of the first time period.

Number of Years: Specifies the number of years to include in the table.
