Create/Edit Attribute Dimension: Attributes

Defines the attributes to include in the attribute dimension.

Attribute dimension attributes are columns of the source table or view for the attribute dimension.

To add an attribute:

1. Click Add DIMENSION ATTRIBUTE ().

2. To specify a name for the attribute, select the default name in the Name column and revise or replace it.

3. To specify the source column for the attribute, double–click the column name in the AS Source Expression column, expand the drop-down list, and select a column.

4. To specify a caption or description for the attribute, select the default value for the classification in the appropriate column and enter a value.

5. To specify that the attribute is a level of the attribute dimension, select the check box in the Level column.

To delete an attribute:

1. Select the attribute.

2. Click Remove DIMENSION ATTRIBUTE ().

To move an attribute up or down in the list:

1. Select the attribute.

2. Click the Up () or Down () arrow.
